The amazing location, helpful and very generous and social host and staff, cute kittens and puppy, good free bikes to explore the surroundings and good organization with a driver that can pick you up! Close to the fantastic caves! We just missed the village planting the rice with a day or two, that would have been an experience!

Very peaceful property surrounded by rice fields with comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful hosts. Amazed to find there was no charge for early check in (arrived on the sleeper bus from Tam Coc at 3am!). Very tasty breakfast and evening meal, infinity pool looked lovely and clean, and the puppy and kittens were very cute.

We stayed 3 nights at Greenfield Ecostay and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is stunning, with the most amazing views over the rice fields. The pool is the best I have seen in Vietnam. Rene and his wife are very friendly and offer great travel tips, they also offer motorbikes that can be hired to explore the surrounding areas. The caves, mountains and forests of Phong Nha are truly stunning and well worth exploring. Everything was great

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat. The accommodation is ideal for families, featuring spacious rooms and generous outdoor areas. The location is fantastic, with most local attractions conveniently nearby. The owners are incredibly warm, friendly, and professional, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We ended up extending our stay from three days to a full week because we were having such a great time. We left with fantastic memories, and we will return in the future!

I absolutely loved my stay at Greenfield. The owner (Rene) along with his wife and son made my stay extra special. They were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The facilities were incredible, especially my room and the outdoor pool. I had 2 delicious breakfasts, as well as an unofficial lunch and an evening meal. The other guests were also lovely. I hired a moped from Rene and they also did my laundry - I didn't have to lift a finger! The location was a little out of the centre but that was a huge plus for me. So peaceful and quiet (but only 5 mins into town and the lake). This is by far one of the best places I have stayed in during my time in Vietnam.

Our kids had an absolute blast splashing around, and we felt at ease knowing they were safe. The pool area was thoughtfully equipped with balls for play and plenty of towels for our convenience. Additionally, the relaxation zone by the pool was simply fantastic, offering a tranquil space to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. I recommend this place to families looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of the countryside. It's a perfect retreat for those traveling with kids, offering a delightful blend of comfort and peacefulness.

Rene and his wife are great hosts. Together with their son and the whole staff they made our stay a fabulous time. Initially we planed to stay only 2 nights but eventually extended to 4 nights. Such a relaxed, quiet, and peaceful place between rice fields. But still just a few minutes ride into town. Our bungalow was clean and cozy. We liked the vegetable garden and the big pool overlooking the rice fields. We had great breakfast and super delicious dinner. They offer to rent scooter, provide tips, and help you with planning tours if you like. On our last day Rene and his son drove us to our pick-up place for the bus. We can definitely recommend this beautiful place. It was one of our best stays in Vietnam throughout our trip.

I chose the Greenfield Ecostay relatively by chance. What luck! The vegetables for dinner grow right next door. The little houses are simple but functional and well equipped. The infinity pool is wonderful and big enough to swim laps. There are comfortable seats and loungers everywhere. Bicycles can be borrowed free of charge. Rene and his lovely wife do everything to make the guests feel comfortable. You feel warmly welcomed as soon as you arrive and quickly start chatting to other guests. Rene is not only a communicative host, but also a language genius and encyclopedia. There is no question he doesn't have a comprehensive answer to. You can relax wonderfully here after a strenuous cave tour. I would have loved to stay longer, but I will be back.

An amazing location with wonderful views of picture-postcard perfect mountains of the national park. Not only was it an ideal place to visit the national park, especially the caves and the botanical gardens, but more importantly the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. They make you feel like you are being welcomed into their home, the food is fantastic and the beer is cold - what more could you want? The rooms are clean and comfortable with good air conditioning and hot showers.
